This weeks tip of the week is a result of giving myself a lesson. With the cold fronts in our area again I needed to hit some punch shoots. However, I found myself over hooking the ball because I was trying to hit it too hard. So with a little practice I found that I needed to slow my arm swing down much more and it resulted in a much straighter ball flight. Try it the next time you need to use a punch shoot and keep the ball low.

Lastly, I'm happy to get emails and respond to the statements, questions, or announce upcoming golf events or their results. So, please use the above email to ask your question or make your statement.

Until next time....I'll see you at the lesson Tee.
