The next meeting for Womenís Christian AGLOW in McAllen will be September 12 at the Viva Life Christian bookstore.
The speaker will be Julianne Thompson, a retired educator, who with her husband, came to the Rio Grande Valley to live in 2001. Often known as Julie, Thompson will be sharing music on her hammered dulcimer for a praise time, also introducing one of her own compositions: ďLiving waters.Ē She will continue to speak and encourage all women to accept Godís Love for them and to receive Godís Living Waters as well as being a vessel to share their Heavenly Fatherís love with others.
She will also share the artistic glass work she designed in response to this song gift, share about some personal struggles in life, as well as give testimony of Godís faithfulness and encouragement.
Both Mr. and Mrs. Thompson have interesting backgrounds as teachers in various states as well as with Wycliffe Bible Translatorís schools overseas, have held variety of jobs, and nurtured several foster children in their home. They have expressed servant hearts in their churches and communities and are proud parents of two grown daughters.
