McALLEN – Easter Seals Board of Directors 59th Annual Dinner is slated for Thursday, Oct. 27 at the McAllen Convention Center. Reception kicks off at 6:00 p.m., dinner, program and auction will be from 7 to 9:30 p.m.
Each year the board selects key volunteers who support the Easter Seals Mission, who go above and beyond the call of duty in their support to Easter Seals. This year's selected honorees are: Felo & Maxine Guerra as the 2011 Humanitarian Honorees of the Year. Felo and Maxine continue their family legacy of supporting their community and dedicate this honor to Carmen and Rafael Guerra. The 30-year tradition of auctioning painted ostrich eggs by local artists will be part of the festivities. You do not want to miss this! We have 15 featured artists. You can meet all of the incredible artists and Annual Dinner honorees on Tuesday, Oct. 11 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Art Village on Main (& Hackberry) in McAllen.
