The South Texas Players, sponsored by South Texas College’s Communications and Creative Arts Department, is proud to present “Women, Men Y Un Pez,” 11 short comedies about friendships, romance, life in the Valley, and the complications of male-female relationships.

The curtains go up March 12 at the college’s Pecan Campus Cooper Center for Communication Arts. Performances take place March 12, 13 and 14 at 7:30 p.m. with a special matinee on March 14 at 2:30 p.m. Admission is $7 for adults, $5 for seniors and members of the military, and $4 for students.

“We are so excited to bring this unique production to our local community, not only because there are some stellar performances by our students and alumni, but also because it showcases the students’ hard work that is going into putting on a top-notch production. I think the community will really enjoy this performance and our interpretation,” said Dr. Jack Carroll, coordinator of STC’s new Drama Program.

The Pecan Campus is located at the corner of 29th Street and Pecan Blvd. in McAllen. For more information contact Dr. Jack Carroll at 956-872-2639 or Amanda Sasser at 956-872-2348.
