The Valley Land Fund invites children and families to enjoy an evening under the stars at Quinta Mazatlan honoring our young photographers of the valley, Thursday, Aug. 19, from 7 to 9 p.m. Youth from ages 6 to 18 have been working all summer long working to capture that winning image of nature.

Professional judges had the challenge of viewing over 600 images for creativity, originality and technical proficiency. The judges, featuring Larry Ditto, Esperanza Chapa and Marilyn Mosely La Mantia, have all been involved in the VLF Adult Photo Contest, so they know how hard these kids worked in the brush country or Professional judges had the challenge of viewing over 600 images for creativity, originality and technical proficiency. The Awards Ceremony is open to the public and will include live music by La Mision, youth photo exhibit in the courtyard, followed by a special video presentation of the winning images and awards ceremony. Following the event, winners and images will be posted on the Valley Land Fund website at www.valleylandfund. com.
