The City of McAllen Animal Control will hold a series of Rabies Vaccination Clinics in the month of March 2010 and April 2010. McAllen City Ordinance Chapter 14-51 requires dogs and cats to be licensed and Chapter 14-54 requires dogs and cats to be vaccinated before a license may be issued.
The clinics will be held at various dates and locations. Dogs and Cats must be on a leash or in a pet carrier. Animal lovers care for their pets and vaccinations help stop the spread of rabies. The clinics allow an opportunity for all pet owners to vaccinate their pet and be in compliance with city ordinance.
CLINICS WILL BE HELD FROM 1:00-3:00 P.M. AT THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS:
SATURDAY, MARCH 13: FIRE STATION No. 6 - S. 23RD & SARAH.
SATURDAY, MARCH 20: MEMORIAL HIGH SCHOOL - 101 E. HACKBERRY AVE.
SATURDAY, MARCH 27: MCALLEN HIGH SCHOOL - 2021 W. LA VISTA AVE.
