IBC Bank, H-E-B and BMPRadio are partnering for Operation Care Drop, a donation drive in support of our nationís troops.
Ten IBC Bank branches in Brownsville and 20 branches in McAllen, are serving as drop-off stations for care package supplies from Memorial Day (May 31) through Sunday, July 4.
More than 225 IBC branches across Texas and Oklahoma, including more than 65 H-E-B locations with IBC in-store branches in Texas are participating in the donation drive. This is the third year IBC and H-E-B have partnered on the initiative.
To help pack and ship the goods overseas to servicemen and women, IBC and H-E-B are working with Operation Interdependence (OI), the premier Civilian-to- Military Delivery System in the U.S.
The community can participate in Operation Care Drop by: 1) purchasing pre-made care packages from select H-E-B locations or travel-sized supplies capable of fitting inside a quart-sized plastic bag; 2) making a monetary donation at an IBC traditional branch; and 3) writing a letter of gratitude to a soldier. For additional details, you can contact a local IBC Bank branch.
