Need to claim your retirement or disability benefits? Need extra help with your Medicare prescription drug costs? The McAllen Memorial Library invites the public to attend a workshop on how to claim benefits and more through the U.S. Social Security Administration website (www.ssa.gov). All workshop sessions are free of charge and will be held in the computer lab on the second floor of the Main Library.

A representative from the local Social Security office will be present to discuss and answer questions about the SSA’s online services. Assistance to register online for Social Security, Retirement and Disability benefits will be provided.

The next workshop will be Wednesday, March 24, 6 to 8 p.m. More sessions will be offered depending on demand.
