Get ready to learn the basics of woodcarving from the Rio Grande Woodcarvers. The Edinburg Scenic Wetlands and World Birding Center is proud to present Ron ald Henson of the Rio Grande Woodcarvers. Henson will be conducting an introductory class designed to instruct participants on woodcarving techniques, tools and the many possibilities in woodcarving. Each participant will get to put their new knowledge to the test and carve something from Balsa Wood.

This program will be held on Saturday, Feb. 27, from 10 a.m. to noon. The fee for this activity is FREE with paid admission ($1 for seniors and students and $2 for adults.) This is a class for adults only and the space is limited to 20 participants so be sure to reserve your spot soon! All materials will be provided for participants by the presenter.
