This fall, the Edinburg World Birding Center (EWBC) has day trips designed for you to experience the bird life of the entire Lower Rio Grande Valley. We’re covering the whole, flat expanse, from east to west, in four unique, day-long trips.

During these tours, local bird expert and guide, Roy Rodriguez, will share his knowledge of the numerous ecological zones to be found in the Valley, along with their associated bird species.

Tuesday Tours will kick-off on Nov. 16, with a trip to the Western reaches of the Valley. Planned stops include Salineño, Falcon State Park, and Starr County Park.

The cost for the Nov. 16 trip is $40 for EWBC members and $45 for non-members. It is recommended that all participants bring a field guide to North American Birds, binoculars, sunscreen and insect repellent.

Space is limited, so please call to reserve your spot(s). For more information, please call us at 956-381-9922 or visit us on the web at EdinburgWBC.org.
