It's simpleŚwe can no longer afford to keep the current "status quo" Health Care program. It's too expensive and many Americans simply cannot afford it. On top of that, when Americans file claims against insurance companies, their claims are too often accepted for less than the actual costs or worse yet, turned down altogether.

It goes without saying that many Americans have pre existing health conditions or cannot afford to buy Health Care insurance at any price. What American need, is to have Health Care reform that includes a public option choice. Americans want to have this choice included even if they wish to continue with their current insurance plan. The Republicans are making a mistake when they try to scare Americans into keeping the costly status quo Health Care program. They forget that Americans come from the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave. The American people will reject the GOP's scare tactics.
