The Edinburg Scenic Wetlands & World Birding Center, invites high school students to participate in “Leadership in Nature”, a five day field intensive program designed to introduce students to career opportunities in natural resource fields. Students participating in “Leadership in Nature” will meet and interact with a wide variety of resource professionals including biologists, engineers, and professors. The program will let students experience real world science up-close while gaining invaluable information, experience, and skills in a wire variety of career choices.

This year’s “Leadership in Nature” will take place July 21 — July 24. The cost for this program is $100. All youth participants will receive a hat, t-shirt and other supplies.
