Get ready to delve into the amazing world of woodcarving with the Rio Grande Woodcarvers. The Edinburg Scenic Wetlands and World Birding Center is proud to present Ronald Henson of the Rio Grande Woodcarvers.

Henson will be conducting the second class in our woodcarving series. In this class each participant will get to carve a Scissor-tailed Flycatcher out of cherry wood, improving their technique and learning about working with different types of wood. Participants will surely gain confidence in this class as they work their way towards the final class in the series, where everyone will carve a hummingbird! A great instructional class, sure to educate and inspire you!

This program will be held on Saturday Dec. 18 from 9 a.m. to noon. The fee for this activity is $7 for members and $9 for non-members. This is a class for adults only and the space is limited to 20 participants so be sure to reserve your spot soon! All materials will be provided for participants by the presenter.
