The first baby delivered in 2009 at the Women’s Hospital at Renaissance was at 12:15 a.m.

The baby girl, Araceli Hernandez, daughter of Javier Alonzo and Myra Jean Hernandez from McAllen, weighed 7 pounds and 12 ounces, and measured 19.5 inches long. Mother and daughter are doing well according to Obstetrician; Dr. Fernando Otero Gifts presented on behalf of the hospital included an assortment of baby gifts from the Gift Shop, a gift basket full of supplies and a $10,000.00 savings bond.

In recognition of being the first baby born in 2009 at The Women’s Hospital at Renaissance, Baby Araceli Hernandez received a $10,000 savings bond from Lone Star National Bank and Doctors Hospital at Renaissance.
