The Community Health Education Series is a free educational program for patients, families and caregivers wanting to receive more information on health awareness topics sponsored by Doctors Hospital at Renaissance. Dr. Rafael Amaro, gastroenterologist will be the guest speaker for the seminar focusing on “How to Prevent Colorectal Cancer.”

“Our ongoing education series is free to the public and highlights a one-to-one question and answer session by the physician,” state Marissa Castañeda, DHR Chief Operations Officer. Mrs. Castañeda continues, “The mission of the series is to inform and empower the community by providing indispensable, general health care information and support from our local physicians.”

The free seminar will be taking place on Wednesday March 11, at 6 p.m. at the Rehab Center at Renaissance — Multi Purpose Room, located at 5403 Doctor’s Drive. The Rehab Center at Renaissance is located behind the main hospital.
