The De La Vina Elementary School Technology Club participated in the Texas Library Association Media Contest and had seven winning entries. The student winners are, from left, Jason Gonzales, first grade student, won second place for his graphic design titled “Termite” and he also won Honorable mention for his color photo titled “Dragon fly.” Xaric Rios, Kinder student, won 2nd place for his black and white photo titled “Wren gone South.” Lianna Guerra, first grade student, won Honorable Mention for her animation project titled “The Animal Chase.” Tessa Gilbert, third grade student, won 3rd place for her color photo titled “Happy Feet.” Amber Guerra, second grade student, won Honorable Mention for her animation project titled “Day and Night.” In back are sponsors Erika Faubion and Alma Ramon.
