Edinburg Police Crime Stoppers will hold their third annual Benefit Golf Tournament Saturday, April 4, at Los Lagos Golf Course, located at 1720 South Raul Longoria Road.

The Edinburg Crime Stoppers is a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting in the ongoing fight against crime in our community. A 24-hour hotline allows Crime Stoppers to receive anonymous information and pay up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and/or conviction of criminals.

“We are asking for your help,” said Officer Gomez, “with sponsorship or door prizes for this event. If you participate, you will be promoting your organization to a group of people who are very loyal to its sponsors, as well as to the many area golfers who will be participating in the event. Furthermore, contributions to Crime Stoppers are fully tax-deductible.”

The organizers of this year’s event anticipate it to be highly successful and well-attended. “We ask that you get involved and become a sponsor,” said Officer Gomez. “This organization helps to make Edinburg safer for all its residents.”
