Local musician had recent debut at McAllen’s Cine El Rey

Homer King is a busy man. While working on his masters at the University of Texas-Pan American in rehabilitation, King also just released his first album, did an interview with National Public Radio and had his debut show at Cine El Rey Saturday.

Free Tejano music concert on Thursday in Pharr

PHARR – HUB City Conjunto and Tejano Museum Founder and President Roy Rodriguez, in collaboration with the City of Pharr and the Pharr Chamber of Commerce, invite the community to a free concert to take place at the southside parking lot (Cage and Caffery) of Pharr City Hall on Thursday, Oct. 20, from 6 to 9 p.m.

The event is FREE with only $10 parking per vehicle.

Santana to play State Farm Arena

HIDALGO – As part of the (SOCC) Sound of Collective Consciousness Tour of North America Carlos Santana and the Santana Band will make a stop at State Farm Arena Tuesday Sept. 13. Along with Santana special guest Michael Franti & Spearhead will play as well.
