EDINBURG – The Edinburg Chamber of Commerce announced Josh Turner will headline the 49th annual Fiesta Edinburg.
The event will take place at H-E-B Park Friday Feb. 24. Tickets go are on sale at www.hebpark.com and will cost $35 for general admission and $55 for premium admission.
Opening for Turner will be The Powell Brothers along with Eddie Saenz and Lauren Corzine.
Fiesta Edinburg is the chamber's largest celebration and commemorates Edinburg becoming the county's seat. The event will run from Thursday Feb. 23 to Sunday Feb. 26.
Turner is currently on the road in support of his latest single “Hometown Girl” which has been lauded by Rolling Stone Country, “Pairs the South Carolina-native's unmistakable, country-to-the-core baritone with a modern, rollicking beat.”
Turner is one of country music's most recognizable hit-makers. He has sold more than 12 million albums, is a disciple of traditional country music and one of the youngest members of the Grand Ole Opry. His popular hits include “Long Black Train” and “Would You Go With Me” to name a couple.
More entertainment will be announced in the coming weeks leading up to Fiesta Edinburg.
