The RGV Hispanic Chamber is happy to partner up with HEB and give our local folks an opportunity to get their products on the HEB shelves. If you produce a food or beverage (non-alcoholic) in Texas and you think that it’s good enough to be considered the Best in Texas, then attend a free workshop on Tuesday, February 22nd from 9am to 11am at The Monitor Wingert Community Room located 1400 E. Nolana in McAllen.
Mr. James Harris, Director of Diversity & Inclusion and Supplier Diversity will explain all of the steps that it takes to do business with HEB during this 4th Annual H-E-B Primo Picks Quest for Texas Best. Several people from the Rio Grande Valley have already passed the test to be a Primo Pick and have succeeded at getting their product on the HEB shelves. One prime example is Jank Original Gourmet BBQ sauce developed by Lamar Jones from Weslaco.
For more information and/or to register for the workshop call the RGV Hispanic Chamber at 928-0060.
Shown working out final details for the workshop are: Yvonne Loflin, HEB Border Region Public Affairs Specialist; Cynthia M. Sakulenzki, RGVHCC Pres/CEO; Linda Tovar, HEB Senior Manager Public Affairs Specialist and Audrey Trevino, HEB Border Region Public Affairs Coordinator.
