Mission High School’s DECA (Distributive Education Clubs of America) chapter will have three teams competing at the International Career Development Conference to be held April 26-29 in Anaheim, California. Congratulations to Samantha Banda and Ricky Montoya, who placed as finalists for Hospitality and Tourism Operations Research; Samantha Alaniz, Jo Anna Montantes, and Daniella Gonzalez on Growth Campaign Advancement; and Christopher Barboza, Marcela Rodriguez, and Alexis Gonzalez on Promotional Campaign Advancement.

The three teams advanced from the DECA State Career Development Conference held in San Antonio; a total of 27 students competed.

DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe.
