The winter blues are long gone and spring is in the air. In an effort to assist McAllen residents with their spring cleaning, the City of McAllen will host an all-day Spring Cleaning Day on Saturday, April 29, 2017 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

McAllen Public Works invites residents to clean their homes, yards and patios and drop off their bulky ítems, trash and debris.

“The goal is to beautify McAllen, and to keep the community safe and healthy as well,” said Public Works Director Elvira Alonzo. “McAllen Spring Cleaning Day is a great option for those who cannot make it out to the Recycling Center or for those items that do not fit in the trash.”
