SAN JUAN - PSJA Early College High School Junior Damian Luna competed at the SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference in Louisville, Kentucky last week, representing the State of Texas in the Job Skills Demonstration competition. He came home with a silver medal, ranking 2nd in the nation.

During the preliminary round, he competed against 46 other students from throughout the country, and was selected to the finalist round. According to his sponsor Gene Hernandez, PSJA ECHS Welding Instructor, this was Damian's first year competing. He is proud of his efforts and this amazing experience.
