The Alton City Commission recently recognized the members of the Robo-Rangers robotics team for its volunteerism over the summer. The Robo-Rangers team includes students from Alton Memorial Junior High School (AMJH) and Mission High School (MHS).

Twelve members of the FRC 5960 Mighty Robo-Rangers volunteered a total of 650 hours of community service as a part of the Out of this World Summer Camp put on by Alton. The eight-week camp was held at the Alton Recreation Center.

MHS freshman, Cristian Navarro, was given an additional honor for being the top volunteer at a recent Alton City Commission meeting for 312.25 hours of community service on his own.
