Javier Villalobos 505 votes, 37 percent

Results are unofficial until they are canvassed by the McAllen City Commission. A date has yet to be set for that canvassing.
There was not an outright winner since no candidate received the 50%+1 required to win. Since no candidate received the majority, there will be a run-off. The date will be set to avoid conflicting with the Hidalgo County primary elections.
