Club members from the Sam Risica Unit recently took a determined stand against drugs, alcohol, and other destructive decisions that can not only impact their lives but the lives of their family and friends. Looking at the future of their lives, students were made aware and sensitive to the chaos that can be part of their lives if they indulge in decisions which jeopardize health, safety, and overall well-being.

Posters, bulletin boards, and presentations assisted in getting this message of importance to all club members.

Throughout the week, students had the opportunity to sign a banner indicating their pledge to stay drug and alcohol free. At the conclusion of Red Ribbon club members, with their banner and signs marched in a drug free parade around the Las Posada Housing Authority.
