McALLEN — Activity Directors (ADs) from around the Valley were on hand to have a grand time during the event planned by Welcome Home, Rio Grande Valley, to show the Activity Directors the ins, outs and arounds of Quinta Mazatlan. A variety of restaurants offered up scrumptious delicacies to fill the bellies of the directors and entice them to their food establishments, hoping they’ll promote them to the members of their parks also.

A festive affair, colors dashing across the long, rectangular pools, everyone was in a merry mood and laughter ensued as the door prize drawings were held and the winners came forth to collect their goodies. The Chamber’s Greeters generously poured their famous Border Buttermilk as the sun shown down on the affair.

Tours were conducted of the charming home and spacious grounds of Quinta Mazatlan. Brooks Austin’s magnificent live guitar music graced the air among the chatter of the participants. All in all, it was obvious — another successful event by Welcome Home, Rio Grande Valley.
