Hey kids! Have you ever seen a snake up-close and personal? Ever been on a search for reptiles out in the wild? Ever wonder how snakes find their prey? If you and your family want to learn more about these fantastic, cold-blooded creatures we call reptiles then come to the Edinburg Scenic Wetlands on June 16th for “Reptile Ruckus”, part of our summer Family Fun Day series.
Find out about cool reptile adaptations, make reptile crafts, and follow an experienced guide throughout our grounds in search of these slithering, swimming, and scaled creatures!
This Family Fun Day program will be held on Wednesday, June 16, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. The fee for this activity is $5 for families with a Scenic Wetlands membership and $7 for families that are not yet members. One adult for every three children ages 12 and under is preferred (up to eight children per family). Registration is required two days prior to the event. Space is limited so please call ahead to reserve a spot.
