The South Texas Indian Dancers invite you to their NDE DAA Spring Pow Wow on March 14 from 10 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. at Joy Plaza, 2200 Industrial Drive at the intersection of Zinnia and 23rd street behind Joy Dollar. Gourd Dancing is from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Grand Entry is from 1 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Come and enjoy something for everyone. There will be cake walks, raffles, Native American Jewelry, dream catchers, arts and crafts and beads. Take home some jewelry making supplies. See Indian dancing from tiny tots to seniors in full regalia. If you have ever wanted to dance with Indians, this is your chance. Some dances are open to the public. Watch for exhibition performances by dance style throughout the pow wow, and enjoy the rhythm and grace of the Gourd Dancers. So come on down, stay an hour or all day.
