History Program — The Museums of Port Isabel and the Laguna Madre Museum Foundation are proud to present its “Telling Our Stories” Series of 2010 on at the Treasures of the Gulf Museum, 317 E. Railroad Ave. at 7 p.m. Rod Bates, a historian and owner of Antiques on Tarnava, will present “The War for Independence & Mexican Revolution.” His presentation will show how both events influenced Port Isabel and the Laguna Madre area. There will be an exhibition on display in the Historical Museum of documents and artifacts.
