Keeping a nature journal is a wonderful way to record one’s interactions with nature. The Edinburg Scenic Wetlands is proud to host one of the Rio Grande Valley’s great artists as he teaches the fundamentals of keeping a nature journal.

On Saturday, Jan. 31 from 10 a.m. to noon, F. P. “Tony” Bennett of Harlingen will discussuseful techniques that help nature artists observe and record the natural world. This is a great opportunity to learn and share your drawings with a premiere nature artist. “Nature Jounraling” will be held at the Edinburg Scenic Wetlands and World Birding Center.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own art materials. The fee for this program will be $35.00 and can be paid by phone or in person. Registration is required for this program.
