Hidalgo County

Commissioners’ Court met in session on Monday, March 21, 2011 and

considered an agenda that included the following

highlights:

275th

District Judge Juan Partida and 93rd District Judge Rudy

Delgado presented an item for discussion and action regarding

funding for visiting judges assigned to the two Auxiliary Courts,

whose function is to help expedite files for felony criminal

cases.  Judge Partida reported that visiting judges’ salaries will

no longer be funded by the state due to budgetary constraints.

Commissioners’ Court agreed to fund the judges’ salaries for the

remainder of the year.
