The Edinburg High School Bobcat band, football players, cheerleaders, and sergeanettes descended on Freddy Gonzalez Elementary to kick off Red Ribbon Week, the period when students across the nation commemorate the life of Enrique “Kiki” Camarena, a DEA agent who fought to keep drugs away from children. The students who are pictured are Freddy Gonzalez alumni. They visited the school campus to speak about staying away from drugs and achieving their dreams.
