Armandina F. Briseno, 79, entered into eternal rest on May 30, 2009, at Edinburg Children's Hospital in Edinburg. She was born on July 12, 1929 in Saragoza, Coahuila, Mexico.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Francisco Briseno; brothers, Humberto Fuentes and Homero Fuentes, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Armandina is preceded in death by her parents.
She was a loving housewife who loved gardening and crafting. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those who knew her.
Visitation was held on Monday, June 1, from 4 to 9 p.m. with a rosary prayed at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg. Christian mass was held on Tuesday, June 02, at 1 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Christian burial followed to Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen.
Having the honors of serving as pallbearers were Eric Aguilar, Jesse Aguilar, Pablo Alonzo, Cris Alonzo, Santiago Solis, and Antonio Rubio.
Funeral services have been entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
