Pablo Luevano, 66, entered eternal rest on Sunday, September 20, 2009 at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. He was born on July 19, 1943 in Edinburg to Jose Tereso Luevano and Estanislada Villarreal.
He lived in Edinburg all of his life. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers; Victor, Domingo, and Silvestre Luevano, and sister; Angelita Luevano, and brothers-in-law; Brijido Solis and Ralph Lopez.
He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years; Maria Teresa Luevano, son; Domingo (Aglaee) Luevano, daughters; Edna Karina and Erica Cristine Luevano, grandchildren; Dominique Luevano, Dana Luevano, Domingo Luevano, Dante Luevano, and Edrika Katalyna Urbano, brothers; Gregorio (Hilaria) Luevano, Hilario (Irma) Luevano, sisters; Isidora Solis, Eva (Jose) Berumen, San Juanita Lopez, and Mara (Juan) Barco, sisters-in-law; Angelita Luevano and Teresa Luevano.
He was a diesel mechanic for many years and he loved to fix his own tractor trailers. He and his family owned Luevano Trucking Company for many years. He was a simple man who loved to bar-b-que with his family and loved the outdoors. His greatest joy was his wife, children, grandchildren, and family. He will truly be missed by his family and all those whose lives he touched.
Visitation for Pablo Luevano was held on Tuesday, September 22, 2009 from 11:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service held at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg, Christian services were held on Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg. Christian burial followed to Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Having the distinguish honor to serve as pallbearers were; Domingo Luevano, Victor Luevano, Alfredo Carrasco, Ben Oviedo, Hilario "Lalo" Carrasco, and Hilario "Walle" Levano. Funeral services were entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
