A number of Valley high school musical groups recently became stars of their own Disney show as part of the Disney Performing Arts Program.

McAllen Memorial High School "Mustang" Marching Band traved to the Walt Disney Word Resort in Florida on June 8.

McAllen High School Band performed on June 9 at the Walt Disney Word Resort in Florida.

Hidalgo High School "Mighty Pirate" Marching Band performed on June 6 at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.

La Joya High School "Coyote" Wind Ensemble performed on June 8 at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.

Palmview High School Wind Symphony performed on June 6 at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.

Juarez-Lincoln High School Band performed on June 6 at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.

Dance groups, choirs, ensembles and marching bands from around the world apply to perform each year as part of Disney Performing Arts at both the Disneyland and the Walt Disney World Resorts. Once selected, they are given the opportunity to perform at the resort for an international audience of theme park guests. Millions of performers have graced the stages of the Disney Parks in the more than 25 year history of the program.
