SADLER — Kendall Rainey was 3-for-4 with a home run, two RBI and scored twice as second-place Pottsboro defeated third-place S&S, 7-2, in District 9-3A action on Monday night.

Pyper James did not allow an earned run on four hits and a walk to go with eight strikeouts and was 2-for-4 with a double and scored, Alex Massie was 2-for-4 and drove in a run, Payton Deaton was 2-for-4 with a double, drove in a run and scored, Hatty Shope scored twice and Madison Landers drove in two runs for Pottsboro (13-6, 5-1).

Haylee Mahan doubled and scored, Taylor Blanscett walked and scored and Lauren Jaresh, Taylor Maxwell and Jada Muller singled for S&S (8-8, 3-3), which is tied with Ponder in third place.

District 13-2A

Trenton 8, Ector 2

ECTOR — Jessica Withrow did not allow a hit and struck out 15 in her six innings of work as third-place Trenton beat fourth-place Ector in a district make-up game on Monday.

Carley Stone was 3-for-4 with a double and two RBI, Brooke Connelly was 3-for-4 with a triple and drove in a run, Rikki Foreman doubled and drove in two runs and Bailea Elam was 2-for-4 for Trenton (12-6, 4-2).


District 9-3A

Whitesboro 9, Callisburg 3

CALLISBURG — Kade Brewer was 3-for-4, drove in a run and scored twice as Whitesboro defeated Callisburg in district action on Monday.

Riley Dickson was 2-for-3, drove in two runs and scored, Nolan Frith doubled and scored, Scout Sanders drove in a run and scored twice, Noah Griesen had two RBI and Weston Hickman scored twice for Whitesboro (11-4, 4-1), which moved into a first-place tie with Gunter.

Brandon Hutson tripled and scored and Parker Huddleston drove in a run and scored twice for Callisburg (3-9, 1-4).


Texoma Christian 10, Princeton JV Black 6

PRINCETON — Jordan Kroeker was 2-for-4 with two steals, drove in two runs, scored twice and got the win with five strikeouts in two innings of scoreless relief as Texoma Christian defeated Princeton’s junior varsity black team in non-district action on Monday.

Kyle McCarthy singled, stole three bases, drove in two runs and scored twice, Blaise Bentsen drove in two runs and scored twice and Dillon Foster singled, drove in a run and walked twice for Texoma Christian.
