Adam Gordon loaded the bases after being hit by a pitch and then Brandon Wilkerson followed with a two-run double to left center field. With runners at second and third, R.J. Harris hit a two-run single to center field cutting the Colts' lead 5-4.
San Angelo added an insurance run in the top of the ninth on the RBI single from Mark Ramos that pushe the score to 6-4.
Edinburg loaded the bases with a couple of errors from the Colts in the bottom of the ninth but Fransisco Cruceta got back-to-back strike outs and got Harris to ground out to the mound to end the game giving the Colts the 6-4 victory and the series split.
Chandler Barnard picked up the win after pitching seven innings and allowing two runs on five hits.
The Roadrunners travel to Harlingen for four-game series with the Rio Grande Valley WhiteWings starting Thursday night at Harlingen Field. Jorge Quintero is expected to start for Edinburg with the first pitch scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
