A Speechcraft class will be offered on three consecutive Fridays from noon to 1 p.m. beginning Friday, March 6, at the McAllen Memorial Library, 601 N. Main Street, in the third floor conference room.
The class is sponsored by Metro Toastmasters.
In these three one hour sessions, participants will learn and practice public speaking techniques, introducing a speaker, presenting a prepared speech, responding to an impromptu topic and receiving and giving feedback.
Whether you have a fear of speaking or want to improve your skills, this course will be beneficial to you. Participants will have fun while they learn.
There is a $20 fee for study materials. To register, call Speechcraft Coordinator Phyllis Allen at 956-781-3888.
