US TOO MCALLEN the Valley`s only prostate cancer support, education and advocacy group for prostate cancer survivors, families, friends and caregivers will hold its annual free “Survivor Dinner Celebration” during September’s National Prostate Cancer Awareness Month on Thursday, Sept. 3, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. in the Community Room of Texas Oncology Clinic.
This event sponsored by Abbott Laboratory will feature John Arajou MD PhD, assistant professor in the department of genitourinary medical oncology of MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Araujo will speak on “Prostate Cancer…what is New on the Horizon for Survivors and Their Families?”
