It’s another beautiful week in the Rio Grande Valley…
Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Randy Juelg, who recently married in a beautiful ceremony held at Pearl Resort at South Padre Island. Formerly Josie Snodgrass of Sharyland, the bride looked so very beautiful on this special day! Seen celebrating with the bride and groom were the bride’s parents, Sherrill & RL Driebelbis, as well as many other family and friends. Also seen were Brooke Biddle, Marissa Wingate, Ashleigh Wheeler, Kyla Powell, Megan Martin, Megan & Zach Scurlock, April Chapa, Johnathan O’Cana, Claire Broughton, Sara Martin, Jason Broughton, David Smith, Chandler Smith, Pat & John Martin, Pam & Tom Wingate and Ryan Peterson, just to name a few.
In addition, THE most delicious and beautiful cakes were served to guests (Sharyland grad Sonia Ramirez Serrano of Sugarkissed Cakes was responsible for these); OMG, the pistachio cake in particular was quite amazing!!??Had a great lunch with friends Brooke Biddle and Marissa Wingate at the Blue Onion, where we had a great time catching up and recapping the wedding weekend where we served as bridesmaids. Also seen that afternoon were Kyle Ruppert, JC Lowe, and Scott Nixon, as well Michelle Crane.
New members (and a few older, as well) of the Friends for Hope group recently gathered for a lunch and tour of the Vannie E. Cook Children’s Cancer & Hematology Clinic in McAllen. In its 7th year, Friends for Hope is a group of young people whose mission of supporting the clinic through volunteer work and fundraising has continued to increase each year. New board members include Alfredo Montenaro, Pablo Tagle, Tina Guerra, Pepe Cabeza de Vaca, Philip Farias, Laura Downing, Christine Wallace, and Sophi Vela. Also present at the luncheon was Friends for Hope president Joey Holand, Patricia Hadden, Kacey Ruppert, Connie Cuellar, Sarah Hinojosa, and Stephany Levrier.?
Enjoyed a lovely meal and a great girls night out at House.Wine. with Stephanie Moore and Gretchen Kreidler, in celebration of Gretchen’s birthday. Also seen were Linda & Robert Heard, Leigh Heard, John Kreidler, Victoria Martinez, Rachel Wilkins, as well as McAllen Mayor Richard Cortez. Was also great to run into Amy Seitz, along with her husband Dan, son Cullen, and sister Nancy Cosby. Amy informed me that they were trying out dinner at House.Wine. because she had read about it in I See You!! :)
