James Dunn will be the guest speaker at the November 5 meeting of the Rio Grande Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution beginning at 11 a.m. at the McAllen Country Club.
His topic will be “Change Your Handwriting, Changer Your Life.” A seated lunch will be served for $18.50. All visiting and prospective members are invited to attend. Reservations must be made by Nov. 2 by calling Billye Jenkins at 686-8182.
Dunn began studying handwriting in 1964 after having his own handwriting examined. Graphology, or the study of handwriting, dates back to the third century B.C. Aristotle was possibly the first scholar to study the close relationship between personality and handwriting.
