EDINBURG – Texas Rio Grande Legal Aid (TRGLA) will present a free, legal issues seminar on June 22nd at RGV Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in an effort to help entrepreneurs understand the importance of following the law when owning their own businesses.
The session, moderated by TRGLA Attorney Carla Sanchez, will cover business structures, signing contracts, negotiating a lease, hiring employees, workplace safety, and protecting intellectual property. These issues are typical to most small business owners. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions with regard to their own establishments. In partnership with the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) the RGV Hispanic Chamber will host this seminar from 9am to 11am at the RGVHCC office located at 3313 N. McColl Rd. in McAllen.
