McALLEN - The RGV Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Legislative committee has scheduled their annual “Legislative Report Card Luncheon” for Thursday Aug. 18 from11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the new Embassy Suites Hotel located at 800 Convention Center Blvd.
The local state elected officials will be on hand to give a report on the bills they helped pass that affect the Rio Grande Valley. In addition they will report on the bills that they are still working on and will be happy to answer questions.
The Rio Grande Valley has a lot of concerns in the areas of business, immigration, health, education, security, etc. Now is the perfect opportunity to take advantage of getting face to face with not only one but with several State Senators and Representatives and be heard about your concerns.
Sponsors of the event will get to sit with an elected official during the Luncheon and have the opportunity to have face to face time with them before they sit up with the panel.
