7th season kicks off Saturday
McALLEN – The City of McAllen has announced the seventh season of Sunset Live which kicks off Saturday Oct. 8 at 5 p.m. at the Oval Park of the McAllen Convention Center.
About a dozen regional and national bands that range in style from Indie to Blues will be played on one stage.
For their first show Sunset Live will feature Austin singer-songwriter Jaimee Harris followed by the gritty Alt-Country stylings of Israel Nash and finally the retro-styled local blues quartet The Riverside Boys.
Sunset Live is more than music. There will also be outdoor activities, regional food, beverages and artisans.
Admission is free and the event is pet-friendly. The public is invited to bring a lawn chairs and blankets.
