Monday, March 5th, 12 noon, the Friends of the Edinburg Library will have a special presentation on anger management. The one-hour presentation will be held at the Dustin Michael Sekula Memorial Library, 1906 S. Closner Blvd, Edinburg. Presenter, Joanne Ureste, will show participants effective approaches to anger management.
Participants will learn new and highly effective approach to anger control that gives them the tools they need to manage anger in their day-to-day life. They will get a deeper understanding of how anger affects all areas of your life-both physically and emotionally.
Joanne Ureste is a native to the Rio Grande Valley. She currently resides in Edinburg, TX. She is married to her husband Ryan J. Armijo and they have three rescued dogs: Bubba, Bella, and Jersey. She received her Bachelors in Social Work from University of Texas-Pan American and her Masters in Agriculture Science from Texas A&M-Kingsville. She has a passion in educating and empowering individuals.
Ureste works as the Family Resources County Extension Agent for Texas A&M AgriLife Extension-Hidalgo County. Texas A&M AgriLife Extension improves the lives of Texans through an educational process that uses research-based knowledge focused on local‚ issues and needs.
