SAN JUAN – Pharr-San Juan-Alamo ISD will be hosting the 3rd Annual Border Book Bash on Saturday, Oct. 13 at Raul Yzaguirre Middle School from 9:00 am-3:00 pm.  

The Border Book Bash is a FREE event, open to the public, where book lovers from across the Rio Grande Valley can come together to participate in a variety of activities and enjoy an assortment of concession booths. During Book Bash, attendees can take part in a poetry slam, a literary character costume contest, writing workshops, purchase books and also have the opportunity to attend meet and greets with more than 15 award-winning and bestselling Young Adult authors. 

Previously hosted by Mission CISD and Weslaco ISD, this will be the first time PSJA ISD hosts this large-scale book festival to celebrate RGV teens and tweens’ passion for reading.
