It’s Wednesday night and that faint light at the end of the tunnel is a mere flicker. The week’s already been much too long and you’re not sure if attempting to work up the energy to eat something is even worth it at this point. Ah, who are we is life! Because of our never-ending love for you, dear readers, we will always muster up some oomph to find a way to dine on a little nourishment and make sure to accurately report our thoroughly researched findings back to you.

Gaby: What’s shaking?

Trisha: Happy to report, absolutely nothing. Home sweet home (grinning emoji)

Gaby: Niiiice. Wanna do take out?

Trisha: Si! The less I have to move right now, the better.

Lucky for us, “life-saving” delivery services are on the rise in our lovely RGV andFavor is another one of them (look back at our Bite Squad vs. Grub Hub article back on 09-12-18). You can have anything from Whataburger, Wingstop, Taco Palenque, or even Dunkin’ Donuts delivered right to your door. Need to run a quick errand and pick up a few items from Target or H-E-B? Nah, no need at all! Just have one of Favor’s delivery assistants, “Runners”, take care of that for you. These efficient individuals will keep you updated throughout the entire process. Before your smiley runner arrives with your items, you’ve mastered your multitasking abilities and managed to wash a few dishes, throw in that second load of laundry, and browse through a few of your favorite social media outlets, before receiving your delivery, relaxing in your own comfy living space and reaping the rewards of your crafty planning skills. Well done, darling. (wink)

Gaby: So, what are we eating?

Trisha: What are the options?

Gaby: Hmmm...Golden Chick, Taco Palenque, Jack in the Box, Buffalo Wild Wings, Taco “P”, IHOP, Taco...

Trisha: “P”? lol Yeah, let’s go with your SUBTLE suggestion and order some Taco “P”.

Gaby: Great idea! haha

As usual, we wanted a smidgen of everything. Adventurous palates, an undying love for Mexican food...alright, alright, food in general….and the need to satisfy our hunger, does not make for a small order of comida. Some quick info entry and a few selections later, our Pirata (two flour tortillas filled with fajitas, refried beans and melted cheddar cheese), Fideo (vermicelli noodles in a savory chicken broth) and Güeritas Combo (two al pastor quesadillas on flour tortillas with a side of regular charro beans and a regular drink) were on their way! Oh, and best of all, since this was our first time (and probably not last time) using Favor, we received a $7 discount at check-out. Dining and Couponing, heck yeah!

The sound of the ringing doorbell was sweet music to our ears and we were more than happy to relieve our friendly runner from the weight of the bags containing our eagerly awaited dinner. As you can imagine, if you’ve ever had the pleasure of consuming some tasty Taco Palenque food, we were more than satisfied with our choices and were equally pleased with the delivery service provided by Favor. We’re going to have to do this more often.

Visit the website and look for all the options in your city. Then download the Favor app from your App Store or Google Play and start enjoying the convenience of having your favorite store items and food delivered directly to you.
