Small business owners are invited to attend a free workshop on Wednesday, November 14th from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, at the RGV Hispanic Chamber of Commerce located inside the EBC Bldg,. large conference room, on 801 E. Fern Ave. in McAllen.

The "Export basics: Export readiness for Small Businesses" session is designed for small business owners interested in growth through exporting. Topics covered include: reasons to export; common exporter mistakes; an export readiness checklist; and global trade resources.

"Small business owners who enjoy domestic success may want to increase sales further and expand their customer base through international markets. This session covers exporting as a growth-strategy," shares Marcela Arredondo, a Senior Business and Trade Advisor and Certified Global Business Professional with the UTRGV Small Business Development Center (SBDC).
