EDINBURG - For a little over a year, the Bert Ogden Arena has served as a venue for countless events. It has featured J Lo in concert to hosting WWE Live to calling it home of the RGV Vipers.

The arena announced at Monday’s press conference Nov. 4, upcoming events for the following months. To begin its eventful roster are the RGV Vipers’ home opener against Austin Spurs Saturday, Nov. 9

Shortly following the NBA G-League team is an iconic Mexican rock band, Maná who will take the stage Nov. 14.

American 70s rock band from Chicago, Styx will close the 2019 year of events performing Dec. 12 and to kick off the new year is Hot Wheels Monster Truck on Jan. 11 - Jan. 12.

Contemporary Christian rock band, Mercy Me will perform Feb. 14 at the arena and family entertainment basketball team showing off their skills are the Harlem Globetrotters who “will delight their fans once again on February 29,” said Shalimar Madrigal, Bert Ogden Arena marketing director.

Cirque Du Soleil Ovo will also make its way down to the Valley with six performances on March 19 - March 22 and favorited comedian and actor with his Netflix special, "One Show Fits All" and new series, “Mr. Iglesias” welcomes ‘Beyond the Fluffy World Tour” with Gabriel Iglesias April 16.

And for the arena’s biggest announcement at Monday’s press conference is American singer and actor who is known as the ‘Goddess of Pop’ - Cher.

Her “Here We Go Again” world tour will make its way to the Bert Ogden Arena, March 8.

Presale tickets for Cher are opened to Bert Ogden members along with its sponsors and media partners, Thursday, Nov. 7 with a passcode.

General on-sale tickets will be available Friday, Nov. 8 at 10 a.m. at the venue’s box office or online.
